How it works
- 1
Jot down what changed
Type the extra work the way you'd say it on site — who asked, what it takes, what it costs. Rough notes are fine, and you can add hours, materials, markup or days if you have them.
- 2
Check the change order
You get back a proper written change order: the scope spelled out, a cost breakdown with markup and total, days added, and a signature line for you and the client. Edit any line before it goes out.
- 3
Send it and get it signed
Print it or email it to the client, then mark it signed or rejected. Every job keeps a numbered running list of changes and the dollars added to the original contract.
